The 2018 Christmas lights were installed by a ‘Friends’ working party over two days on the 30th November and 1st December. The flagpole was again utilised to enhance the display as shown in the pictures below with light clusters in the stairway and bell chamber windows. The lights were ceremonially switched on by Councillor Adam Jogee at 6pm on Saturday 1st December and once again many people commented enthusiastically on the quality of the illuminations and their importance as the precursor to the Christmas celebrations. Our thanks to the volunteers who installed the lights and to Councillor Adam Jogee for generously giving up his time at a busy period in the year.
